Beginning Monday, June 16, 2008, Good Morning Texas will run a four part series on Autism. Host Paige McCoy Smith, of the "Not So Perfect Parent" segment, has teamed with AutismSpot to bring you the latest information from the Autism Community.
On Monday, Dr. Lisa Y. Pierce, a specialist in Pediatric/Adolescent Psychiatry, will dispel common myths about Autism and share what advancements are being made to help those who are on the Autism Spectrum. Also on Monday, AutismSpot's very own Cristina Busu will be discussing the importance of Organized Playgroups in the development of social skills critical for success in our society.
Angie and Kent Potter will be LIVE on Tuesday at 9am to discuss family life and share a parent's perspective on raising a child who has Autism.
